“I started working for GXO nine years ago as a packer in the outbound department. After four years, I decided to apply for the GXO Apprenticeship in Warehouse and Storage. I loved my journey as an apprentice, I had all the support I needed, as well as the chance to learn about each department in the warehouse. At the end of my apprenticeship, I was made a permanent member of the team as HR Administrator.

Since then, I have achieved a CIPD Level 3 qualification and I’ve switched roles to become a Payroll Team Leader as part of the same great HR Team. I manage payroll for over 4,000 employees alongside a fantastic team of three payroll administrators. The experience and the development opportunities I’ve received have been transformative; I started at GXO with a job, and I have ended with a career.”
