National Highways

National Highways is the government-owned company that operates, maintains and improves England’s 4,300 miles of motorways and major A-roads.
As well as managing one of the world’s most advanced high-speed road networks, we provide information and assistance for around four million road users who use our roads every day.
Our roads, and every one of the 6,000 colleagues working across the country, play a vital role in keeping the country connected. We enable work journeys and home deliveries, visits to friends and family, holidays, and the movement of the goods and services that we all depend on.
